Hello, my name is Carol. I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, by my mother and father, along with my five sisters and one brother. I got married at a young age and had three daughters. I was a stay-at-home mom until my youngest daughter was about 15. I then worked as a teacher's aide in a day care setting for nine years and an in-home setting for one year. I have worked with three and four year olds, as well as infants and toddlers. My husband and I, along with my oldest daughter and three grandchildren, moved to WV in 2005. While my daughter and grandchildren lived with us, I stayed home and took care of my grandchildren for about a year and a half. When they moved out in August 2007, I came to work at Little Bear in the Infant/Toddler Room as the Lead Teacher. I love working with the little ones! I have attended training and classes in both MD and WV pertaining to all age groups, but mainly infants and toddlers. I also hold a West Virginia Infant/Toddler Professional Development Program certificate, and am registered on the STARS Career Pathway. Hello! My name is Blair, and I am a Teaching Assistant in the Cub Den. I am from Garrett Co., MD, but just recently moved to Hazelton, WV. Children are my passion. They make the world go round! I have a one year old daughter, Kenzie, and an eight year old stepson, Colton. They are my pride and joy! I am hardworking and dedicated to my family. My family is my most prized possession. I have worked hard to get where I am, and I plan to work much harder to further my education in early childhood. I will complete the West Virginia Infant/Toddler program in early March, and have other trainings planned for this year. I can promise you that if I am in the presence of your child, I will always treat your baby like I would treat my own.
