 Welcome!  My name is Jennifer, the Pre-K Teacher for the Collaborative Pre-K Program. I received my Bachelors of Science Degree in Child Education from West Virginia University and hold a Professional Teaching Certificate from the State of West Virginia. I am registered on the STARS Career Pathway and continue ongoing education. I was born and raised right here in the Hazelton area, and plan to build a home with my husband in the community soon. I have spent a lot of time here at Little Bear, and I was very fortunate to conduct my internships during college in the classrooms. I love working with the children daily, enhancing early learning skills and staying involved with the children in everyday activities. I enjoy keeping the learning environment fun, safe, and clean. Every day is a learning experience for both the teachers and the children, and I REALLY enjoy it!  My name is Shelly, and I am the Assistant Pre-K Teacher. I am currently attending Monongalia Technical Education Center (MTEC) to receive my Certification in Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist. I am registered on the STARS Career Pathway also, and continue ongoing education. While living in Pennsylvania, I spent five years driving school bus and volunteering through children’s youth league activities. This is where my interest of becoming more involved with children started. I am a wife and mother. I live in the Glade Farms area with my husband, Keith, and two sons, Tyler and Alex. I enjoy every minute in the classroom watching the children learn and develop into independent individuals. I look forward to seeing their smiling faces every day. Our goal is to form quality relationships with each and every child and to leave a lasting first impression in their educational journey Pre-K 2009-2010
