About Us
Nestled in the trees and the quietness in the northeast corner of Preston County, lies Little Bear Day Care Inc. We are located off I-68, Hazelton Exit 29. We are conveniently located near the Hazelton Federal Prison Complex. We provide care for children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years. You may enroll your child for full or part time day care, before school and after school. We offer summertime programs for school-age children. We are a fully licensed day care and offer preschool for ages 3-5 years.
We do accept state-subsidized families. Your child can take advantage of breakfast,hot lunch, and afternoon snacks. We conform to the West Virginia Department of Education Child and Adult Care Food program. Some of our daily activities consist of free play, learning centers, cultural activities, and structured activities.
The infant and toddlers can take advantage of a nicely shaded playground, which offers various outdoor equipment. The preschoolers and school age children have a playground located in the rear of the building, which have swings, uneven bars, basketball court, and a sidewalk to ride bikes on.
Our Director has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and over 10 years of experience.
